Need Help! Communication Port Problem - CNCzone.com-The Largest Machinist Community on the net!

First off I am new to this site, so HELLO !!.
Next I am having an parallel issue. I have an CNC 4'x 4' Router.
Software that runs it is CCI software. This is an old machine that runs windows 95 based computer. It recently crashed and had to reinstall some software and now I cannot get the computer to recognize the router. Does anyone know how to check to see if the parallel port is configured right.?.?
