X backlash

Not sure if this is the right place for this question. I have .03 X backlash. Have discovered that the ball screw is moving. Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue.

i think you can put this value in pitch error.

also there are two parameters to solve this error (backlash), in my Fanuc 0imc are :

1851 and 1852 for X and Y

Probably not the best forum for it. This one is for software and controller issues [Machine Controllers Software and Solutions]. Your problem sounds mechanical.

Be specific, what make, model is your machine? Give people something to work with, otherwise you are just wasting their time. There are a of really smart people who are willing to help but you have to do your part.
