I'm trying to set up a simple / cheap DNC solution using the IOGEAR GBS301 Serial to Bluetooth adapter. I'm using Cinco Edit for DNC. I'm able to establish a connection with the bluetooth adapter that's hooked up to a Fanuc H400. When I attempt to receive, I get garbage from the machine. The software receives ASCII trash in the same format as the program I'm trying to send. I've tried messing with baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits, you name it.

If anyone has any experience with this adapter, please let me know. It appears that I'm receiving the wrong data, but a connection has been established.

Also, this adapter doesn't support DTR but does support RTS, so I've been using that.

Hi,
I have this same problem with IOGEAR GBS301 Bluetooth.
I think this is not for CNC.
For cnc try from Wireless Serial Port Adapter Applications - Wireless RS232 - Bluetooth to RS232 - CNC machine
