| This is my 1st cutting project. I had a friend draw it up and I think he used TurboCad, and gave me this output DXF file that is attached below. It is about 8" X 20" cutting 1" thick foam, using 1/4" bit. I opened LazyCam and it imported OK, clicked Cleanup and a few things happened, saw a few lines disappear. Then saved to Mach 3 and again it was on the screen and looked OK. However when I ran it there were many cuts where there shouldn't have been cuts. And it didn't cut in a very efficient way, a partial cut here, go to another spot cut some more then back and forth jumping all over. The biggest problem is that it was cutting where it should not have. Hmmmm Could someone take a look and see if this can be saved. Thanks Hager |
