    Mirror cutting

    Hi Folks!

Well, I'm just shooting in the dark here. I'm looking for the right group to help me source a machine for doing fine, quality cutting of front surface mirrors that are about 1mm thick. We will need to cut shapes like rectangles, triangles, circles, but nothing very complex. Any advice?

1mm thick? That's a pretty thin piece of glass.

I'd think you could do it on a mill or a router. You could set up a vacuum table to hold it I suppose, or carpet tape.

What sort of tooling would you use? Diamond?
