    Default Amada Aries 222

    Hello everyone!

I recently bought this machine and it came without any guide or starting book. It has also a working problem, it seems it does not get any power to the 100V source. It has also CP 8 stopped, if I push it to on position the main power is cut off.

    Any ideas would help. Thanks

CP8 & CP9 Is 200v supply to transformer. Seconardy side CP3, CP4, CP5. Trip 3,4,5 Confirm you have 200VAC on CP8-CP9. If yes Turn on each CP breaker on, check voltage. This will narrow down which circuit is causing problem.

Thank you very much for you answer, I did check all those, also had the power cable misconnected, the rotation sense was wrong. Now it works perfectly. Do you know if operations can be performed on larger sheets on this machine also? For example on 1000x2000 mm?

    Thanks.

PS: Amada sent also all user manuals, so if anyone needs any of them, just ask.

You can use G25 or G27 repositioning in X axis only. Y is a physical limitation. It is possible to run a stuby style clamp, it will allow a larger sheet on the table, your ballscrew length in Y is still limited.

    Example:
G70 X... Y... to positon sheet under hold downs.
    G27 X250.

    Regards,
    Joe
