    Default problem with keyboard maho GR 400 / 200 CNC 432.

    I have a problem with keyboard of maho with 432 CNC controller.
    Really I have 2 turning machines
    The first MAHO GR 400 CNC Philips 432.
    The second MAHO GR 200 with as CNC Philips 432.
    Because of an unknown problem these two machines was never put into service they are in the state of delivery from factory in 1991.
    So I decide to put them into service.
    1- I have start by changing the batteries back to 23 years, to introduce constant machines.
    2- when I start up machine at first sight I see the CNC keyboard does not work well (all key give erroneous values like the following)
    If I press 7 it gives 5
    If I press 2 it gives 9
    DATA in / out = 6
    10 = 0
    F5 = ?
    4 = 7
    ? = F3
    Prog mem = 3

    And so the following ...
    3- I change the card in the CNC that the keyboard cable is connected in, but it didnt give anything
    4- I’m not sure, I think that the constant machine do this, but I can not enter them because the keyboard gives erroneous values.
    I have the same problem with two machines
    Please help and thank you

    Hello djebaili,

    did you solved the problem with the keyboard?
    I have same problem on my turning machine. After flat battery keyboard doesn't work as before. Buttons are mixed. I have old parameters written down but after rewriting them back, the keyboard still work strange.

    Does anyone have an idea what to check? I guess that the problem lays in the software and parameters.

    same happens to our Maho GR200 with Phillips 432T Controller.
    The MCs got lost (because of powesupply / battery failure), after that the keyboard mapping is wrong.
    Does anybody have a solution to restore the right keyboard mapping??

    I still didn't solved the problem and I have tried everything. I have tried another keyboard, another cable, another card on the back side of machine. I checked all parameters but I can't figure out what is problem.

    I also checked everything. There is a diagnostic mode, where you can test the keyboard. When I enter that diagnostic mode, I can see a different keyboard layout on the screen.
    The controller got definitely a wrong keyboard configuration. It does not lot like a hardware problem. We still have no idea, how to change this settings. In the MCs we could not find any parameter, which are related to that.

    got the solution from DMG:

    1. power off the machine
    2. press F1, and keep it pressed
    3. switch the machine on
    4. press Coolant button (message will be shown at the display)

    After that the layout will be changed.
