    IO busy???
    Baud rate is 4800
one bit stop length and sends control code are my settings.
I've done the handshake to RS232 standards and it kind of works,Ican see the computer stop and the machine moves then more program goes into machine then computer stops, might work once or sometimes
5 times but then it runs and gives me the alarm.
Teck guy said to increes baud to 9600 but then he gave me a bunch of giberish that tells me he isn't to sure.On call on Saturday I guess.
Any ideas as to how to fix?
Selling beating with hammer out of question.
Have used upload/download for years but now am making a mold so want to drip feed.

    Hi 9566317,

I can only be of general help, as I don't have your controller type.

If in doubt, slow down your Baud setting to the lowest for testing. Use a short (shielded) cable for the test, too. Some controllers will not DNC as fast as they can upload or download, because of the handshaking requirements of DNC.

What software are you using for DNC? If you want to test drive something else, there is a link on this page for a free working copy of NCLink.

First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.
