Bet somebody's special! Early for Valentines Day too.

Experience is the BEST Teacher. Is that why it usually arrives in a shower of sparks, flash of light, loud bang, a cloud of smoke, AND -- a BILL to pay? You usually get it -- just after you need it.

    Default details/details/details

    I used three tools...

tool 1. 1/2" Dia 2flute for the initial outline and first rough
tool 2. 1/4" Dia 2flute for a secondary roughing path
tool 3. 1/8" Dia 4flute ball endmill to finish/engrave surface wrapped letters

The times for each where roughly...
    tool 1. about 5 minutes
    tool 2. about 5 minutes
    tool 3. 1 hour and ten minutes @ 6000rpm and 6000*4*0.001 = 24ipm

This was a one off gov job so I was'nt to interested in a perfectly optimised speed and feed scenario - what I wanted was a super finish - and I got it!
This was right before the finish cut:

If you had the desire. You could drill some vacuum holes in the letters, mount it to a plate and Vac form some thin(.03) PETG over that. Then use the PETG for a chocolate mold!

Just in case you have more than one Valentine? LOL!

    SWEET!
