    Need button

Hope some clever one out there can help.
I'd really like a button or wizard to convert Y axis moves to angles for writing on cylinders, with a rotary axis. I guess there would have to be input for diameter.
One could create script with the write Wizard and then convert to rotary.
I'm thinking the math is simple, but would G3 and G2 work correctly?
    Boggles my old head.
