Email or other alert at job completion

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a plugin, macro, wizard, or any other extension to Mach3 that can alert me when a job needs my attention? Some of my jobs run for several hours and I can't watch the machine every second. If a job finishes, needs a tool change, or runs into any kind of stop condition it'd be great to have the machine call for help. An email or txt message would be ideal, but even just triggering a flashing red light would be an improvement.

Alternatively, if no such plugin exists, is there any interest out there if I wrote one? I only ask because it would be the difference between making myself a quick and dirty hack vs. making something with features and documentation.
