Hi, I design parts using Autodesk Inventor. Can Mach 3 take a .stp file and generate the G code directly? I can't sem to find this info out from reading the Mach 3 info. Thanks, Paul  |

| No. You'll need a CAM package that can read .stp files. Mach3 itself does not create g-code from any files. It comes with a basic version of LazyCAM, which can read .dxf and a few other 2D formats.
