Hello, Just about have my Solsylva set up, and have finally had the time to learn my modeling and cam programs. When I run a program to cut a 4 inch square pocket, the machine wants to cut about 100 inches. This is obviously a mm/inch problem but I haven't found a unit option yet that has fixed the problem. The native units change nothing. Tried modeling it in both mm and inches, nothing... I also plugged in someone else's gcode and got the same problem. ![]() Thanks, Ed |

| Assuming your native units are inches, I'll need to see the g-code. What CAM are you using? Also, you can't just change native units without restarting mach and possibly changing motor tuning.

| SolidCAM is exporting the code in mm's. If you add a G21 at the top of the code, it should cut the correct size. You may need to use a different post, but I don't know anything about SolidCAM.
