How can i limit the acceleration and deceleration of the spindle. The parameter under motor tuning will only go to .5 and as a result my VFD over volts when the spindle speed is lowered.  |

| Hi, Is this with the LPT-port or are you using an external devices like the Smoothstepper, DSPMC/IP, Dynomotion etc? I have my acceleration and deceleration for the spindle set to several seconds in the motortuning dialog - no problem (with the LPT-port). There was a bug quite some time ago where the decceleration time wasn't obeyed but it was fixed then, perhaps it has crepped back in or you're using an older version? |
