Hi guys. I am wondering if you can suggest the best simple circuit to get my breakout board output 0-5V analog to match inverter input 0-10V input. I am testing this no name breakout board and I couldn't get more than 5.5V at maximum 25000 RPM in mach 3 program. M5 = 0V Max 25000 RPM = 5.5V. Any advice how to build simple circuit for this? Appreciate any advice. Thank you Jeff |

| OP amp circuit (non-inverting) that has about a 2X gain. You can put in a pot and make it adjustable. You will need to supply the Op amp V++ and Gnd with 12VDC to get the ful range to 10V. Conventional op amps acan only swing to with in about 1.2 V of the positive rail. A doubler has to have some form of AC (pulsing DC ) and it's pretty non-linear so your accuracy would go out the window. Simplest non-inverting adjuatable circuit is a single supply part (LM358, LM324, Tl082, etc) . Tie the + input to the voltage you need to scale. tie the output through a 10K pot to ground (each end of the pot). Tie the - input the the pot wiper (center). Instant non-inverting amplifier! | Jeff, Maybe this circuit will do the job for you: http://www.cnc4pc.com/Store/osc/prod...products_id=61. Keep in mind it is not optoisolated, so your VFD should have an optoisolated analog input, or you should optoisolate the 0-5vdc. Arturo Duncan http://cnc4pc.com |

| Thanks Duncan. Fortunately, I have C16 from CNC4pc board, so instead of using 0-5Vdc output from noname breakout board.. I will use one of the remaining output step and direction to get 0-10V output. Appreciate your advice though....thank you very much. Jeff |
