No, Win2K minimum, or XP or Vista. Check Newegg for OEM copies of XP. They used to be $89.
A buddy has given me a couple of old Compaq deskpros for my new cnc router project which is almost complete. The computers have windows 98 installed and I'd like to use one of these to run Mach (?). Will any of Art's mach versions work with windows 98?? I don't want to purchase XP if I don't have to.
Is XP still selling for $100 a copy?
Thanks for the help.

for 100$ that you will spend on xp get a computer at a liquidation store. in Canada you can get a p4 3ghz for 100$ with a xp product key.. you will have to download the appropriate xp disk of one of the various torrent sites but since you are using a legit key all will be legit.

I have bought 6 so far for workstations and MACH3 controllers. Last veriosn of MACH to runon 98 was (maybe MACH1) I know Master 5 did because I built a desktop router using that combo. Master5 was out about 2002
