Please Help as I read in the previous post and still couldn't get the idea how to connect this. I am using breakout board which already have +5V and Charge Pump ports. I detect about 15Khz when I activate Pin 10 for charge pump. But I don't know where do I connect this 2 ports too? My initail thought is to connect this in serie/parallel with Emergency switch somehow and when MACH 3 have error..then it will be disable? Please advised and help..as I try to put safety into the machine. Thank you very much in advanced. Jeff |

| Hello Gary Thank you for quick kindly respond. The board came from Oversea as shown in the picture. I do not have any information on the schematic except it said "P17 Pump electric charge pump may control a group solid state relay in view of MACH to output". Please advised.. . |

| Hello Gary or any experience charge pump user. My understanding about charge pump (Pin 17 setup) is that when frequency change for whatever reason, output go LOW. Please comment my Wiring connection wise, I would use this function to turn on/off SOLID STATE RELAY which would enable/disable AC magnetic coil so my power source to the driver would SHUT OFF when something is wrong. I also ADD "emergency button" in serie, so I can physically shut off. (Please see my simple block diagram). Am I understanding this right?? If so...then here is my curiousity. When MACH 3 is running, I get 12Khz (0.5V) Pin 17 to GND When MACH 3 is off, I get 13.5Khz (6.3V) Pin 17 to GND. Is this sound like the right frequency number? Frequency doesn't stay constant... Is my block diagram seem functional? I am still a newbie..so any comment is appreciated. Thank you Jeff. |
