| Hello guys, Is there a M code that can be used to make Mach3 wait for an input? Here I am not asking about pause but wondering Mach3 can wait indefinitely untill the a physical input on one of the ports will go true. If the feature is not built into Mach3 canit be designed using Wizards/Brains or scripting. A pointer in right direction will be very much appreciated. Thanks Arif |

| When would it be waiting? While running code? While Idle?

| Gary, The idea is to insert the M codes (If possible in Mach3) at suitable position. When execution of G code comes to that point it will verify if the input is high / true. If not it will wait indefinetly. Is it possible in Mach3? http://www.microkinetics.com/catalog%202009.pdf Check pp 13 of 127 in the above file. What I need is similar to M97 for Mach3. Thanks. |

| I can only guess, but possibly create a macro with an if then loop. In the loop, check for the input. If not true, do a short G4 pause, and repeat unitl true, then exit the loop? You can even call it M97 if you 'd like.

| A new manual is currently being written, but this old mach2 customization manual has some info to get you started, as well as the Wiki. http://www.machsupport.com/docs/Mach2_6.11_Custom.pdf http://www.machsupport.com/MachCusto...itle=Main_Page
