I'm just trying out my cnc mill to draw a 100 mm circle but the machine seems like drawing a 10 mm circle. What am I doing wrong in mach3 here?
1 mach3 unit = 1 mm and I use mm settings.

It sounds as though your steps per unit is incorrect....by a factor of ten...hth

ok I think I got it now I reset the units and rebooting etc. Now I am facing backlash problem on my cnc mill. I set up my micro to 2000 steps per rev / 2.5mm (1 turn I got 2.5mm travel) = 800 steps per unit.

Glad it worked for you....backlash...is adjustable mechanically or digitally within Mach.....I have no idea where the setting is.....Hopefully I'll never need it :cheer:
