Ok first Machine: 48x48 home built Motors: Keling 378oz (x4) 2 on X, 1 Y, 1 Z Driver: G540 PSU: keling 350 48v OS: Mach3 of course Problem is when i enable backlash comp and restart software i loose automated control. I can jog the machine around with backlash on but wont respond to mdi command nor programed code i can jog out to table and g28 to go home and it just clicks and sits there. i go and unclick backlash and as soon as i click ok the machine takes off and goes home. Theres got to be something im missing??? I have to run backlash or i would worrie about it.
