Newbie- How configure serial port on mach3

I'got a big problem...

In fact I bought a HOBBYCNC PRO card with an NEOLPT card wich is connected on the parallele port. But the last card must be connected to the PC with the serial port and i don't know how to configure this port on Mach3??

Anybody know how to configure the serial port on mach3???

Mach3 can't use the serial port for motion or I/O. What does your serial card do?

In a first time I had simply the HOBBYCNC PRO card and I read to D milling I could see problem of quality...And a lot of post talk about the addition of a second card, that you plug on the parallele port of the hobby cnc card. With this additional card, normally, I will get a better quality and my machine will be faster on the "3Dinterpolation". This card is madewith a buffer and a chipset.(http://www.iprocam.com/new-neolpt/index.htm#FNEO)

But the main problem is that this second card have to be connect to the pC with the serial port, so I don't know exactly, at first if it's possible and how to do???

I joined a photo to explain. In the left corner, behind all the cables, you can see the HOBBYCNC card and plug on it the IPROCAM card which need to be connect to the serial port.

You would need to write a plugin for Mach3 to use that card. Not sure if it would even be possible. You might want to try a Smoothstepper. www.warp9td.com
