| Can anybody tell me what post processor Mach2 uses? I am using FeatureCam, but have problems with the way the rapids are posted. What machine does mach2 emulate? Or is there any setting in Mach2 that can raise the Z to a safe level before rapids? |

| Mach 2 uses generic G code. I looked at the Feature CAM website. You can download a 52 page manual on how to create post processors. My first guess is that you might be using a 2 Axis post in FeatureCam. Make sure that you are using a 3 Axis post. I don't know of any automatic setting in Mach2 that will raise the Z to a safe level before rapids. That should all be handled in the CAM program. Mach2 will simply execute the movements that its told to do. |
