Hellow all, Is there a switch that turns off program editing capability under some profiles? My new Servo profile runs my programs written for my stepper motors just fine. However when i try to edit them the program seems to accept the command to bring up the file and then doesn't. I can still bring the files up under the older profile written for my stepper machine and edit them just fine. Is there a setting that can be changed in the new profile to allow me to edit the programs? Rick |

| No problem. I had the same issue when a small chunk of my mill computer's hard drive crashed. I partitioned off the bad section and installed EVERYTHING on the D: partition left over. I had to tell Mach to look in D:\Windows\Notepad.exe. ;D It was doing just what you described; hit Edit, and it would TRY to open the editor, but other than a brief flash, nothing happened. |
