Unhappy Mach 3 LazyCam G Code

I am new to Mach 3 and on a learning curve. I would like advice on following :-
I generate a cross shape profil which comprises a number of straight lines and tangential arcs.
I save this in AutoCAD as a Dxf file.
I then open it via Lazycam in Mach 3
I then generate the g code in Mach 3

Everthing goes OK and the file runs, but I want the milling cutter to progress round the profile in a continuous cut. What I get machines say 4 arcs then moves and machines straight parts etc.

Although I could edit the G code, I feel I must be missing a quicker solution ?

    Any guidance appeciated.

try joining all the lines and arcs in AutoCAD into 1 continuous polyline. Use the PEDIT command.

Thumbs up AutoCAD pline - Lazycam - G Code

    Gerry,
Thanks for you help. I used the "join" option in PEDIT and it fixed the problem.
The G code generated was exactly what I wanted.
    Thanks for your help.

    Geoff
