| Hey fellow MACH2 owners........ I have not used my router in months and I go to start it up and it jogs fine with no problems but when I run a g-code file (and have tried a few) it moves and pauses and then moves?? It happens every second and waits for about 1/2 a second and continues. . . . strange! Any quick trouble shooting ideas? Like I said it jogs fine at full speed. I was using vers. #4 and then put vers#6 on and the same deal then I went back to #4 since it worked well last known time I ran it. The machine i'm using it on worked fine months ago and I don't think anything has changed? THe CPU load is low. I think it's software related personally?

| Do you surf the net with this computer? Have you installed anything between the last time you used the router?

| Nope I just use the laptop for the router it's a 1.7 cel with 500 mb's of ram on XP. The whole MACH 2 does seem delayed or boggy. But then again I have not used this laptop in months and I normally use a FAST puter. I'll have to check CPU useage witout MACH2 and at idle from the XP standpoint rather then within MACH2.

| Enter a command in the MDI like "G1 x10 F40" and see if the command will run smoothly like the jog does.

| When I am in XP and checking out the scrolling CPU Usage History it is real SLOW and refreshes about every 10 secs verses every sec. on my other machine. Seems like some kind of process must be running? Not harddrive related though.

| When I boot up the laptop and do not start MACH2 everything is good. As soon as I start MACH2 wham-o. A very noticable aspect is that when you minimize a screen it takes FOREVER!! talk about slooooo mo. So from this I have deducted it's some kind of process running with MACH2. Strange as I do not think i've changed any settings in it........BUMMER

| You said in an early post that you tried a newer version of Mach 2. Did you un-install mach 2 and also un-install the driver from the hardware list as well, before you upgraded? Also before you down graded? I know your problem was before you did the upgrade but maybe the Mach 2 driver went bad.
