Up till now I have been turning my spindle on and off manually. I havent connected the spindle to the Rutex relay board yet. I have tried to get the relays to respond to Mach2 input but cant hear them click in or out. I have tried to configure the relay board to respond to Mach2's input but have had not luck. In the Rutex pdf concerning the relay board it says that I need to use pin 14 of the printer cable and use port C./1 . What does C./1 mean. Has any one else successfully enabled spindle control using the relay board? Last edited by ynneb; 08-22-2004 at 06:56 AM. |

| Not yet, I have my board somewhere on the way to Sweden right now... There is a document describing the schematic at the rutex web page, at http://www.rutex.com/pdf/R990IO.pdf where you hopefully can find the answer. Any possibilty that some shortcut jumper is left somewhere after tuning the drives that maybe takes over a parallel port pin? Cheers, Sven |
