I purchased a small unfinshed CNC mill from a fellow. I finshed converting it to a Xylotex 3 axis controler/steppers and added limit/home switchs. Let me state upfront I have no prior knowledge of CNC mills. So I am IGNORANT. I am tring to use Mach 2. I am trying to use the built in Surface Stock Wizard. Cant get it to fly. From what I can figure out it trys to run the Y axis in a - direction which is backwards for me. Also I cannot for the life of me figure out how to set the Z axis depth/ depth/step/ rapid hight. Is this Wizard buggy? I did figure out how to edit the gcode for the deapth of cut. This wizard is driving me nuts! Anyone have a hint of how to set it up? My mill is setup to home front and left and up. X left=0 x right=+12": Y front to 0 with Y rear = +12". Z is homed with the spindle up to 0 and Z down = +3". Any help is appreciated.
