Buy me a Beer?

Start with mach2, add 2 years of constant development, and many, many added features, and you'll have Mach3.

I'm not so familiar with plasma systems, but as far as i know its the "Z" axis of the cnc plasma cutter. I believe it controls the heat that torch delivers to workpiece. Just do a little searching(search button on top of the page) and you will have all information you need. Also checkout plasma section.

Smile Mach3 for laser

Hello Mach3 experter,
I have some question,
If I want to control this software with laser system,It can run both raster and vector method or not. I think it 's good on vector method but raster method ---> I am not sure. Who can advise me for this software?.
I found PWM signal on Mach3 and pulley ratio on port and pin tab.
It may compatible with laser control. Please advise me if anyone know
at this point.

You are in luck, Art made a new plugin recently, at bottom of page for laser: http://www.artsoftcontrols.com/artsoft/plugin.htm

I tested it with a oscilloscope and output looks good. This will be another futur project for me a laser engraver.

Take a look at our forum I have converted a laser to run on mach 3 using the spindle speed to vary the laser power. Works very well !!
