Well, Jimmy - if Mach thinks your table is shorter than it really is, your scaling (steps per revolution) is off.

You can fix this in the motor tuning section.

Mach also has an automated scaling feature. Since this feature is really only needed once per machine, I can not recall off the top of my balding head where it is, but I am sure if you dig, you will find it - I seem to recall it being on the bottom left side of one of the dignostic screens.

It will ask you to command a known distance and then measure exactly how much the machine moved. This is easiest to accomplish with a travel indicator.

EDIT*** - it is located in the settings screen, directly above the E-stop botton, left, lower corner. It states "steps per unit".

Once you go through the scaling steps, your machine should be 5' again.

I might have jumped to the wrong conclusion about your problem.

If scaling is not the issue, you might simply need to change the limits. This is done under the configure pull down menu, then go to homing/limits.

Not personally, but it sounds logical.

What motors, drivers are you using and what voltage are you running them at? Running at a higher voltage (if possible) might be a decent solution. Hopefully others will chime in....
