Hello All I dont no if i have a problem or i did somting wrong i am trying to setup the Steps Per in Motor Tuning and setup part of mach 3 turn i have a 10 turn per inch srew and the stepper motor is direct drive this is how i understand on how to find the Steps Per Stepper motor = 200 steps for 1 rotation and i need 10 to move a inch so 200 x 10 = 2000 Steps Per is that how its done ??? i input 2000 for steps per and i move my axes 1.000" on the DRO and i get 0.100" on my axes so i changed the Steps Per for 20000 and its ok now what i want to no is did i calculated somting wrong or is thare somting wrong with my software ???? Thanks  |
