| Andrew, I'm using a linistepper and the pinouts can be seen here at the end of the thread: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33422 I'm using Mach 3 for my cnc. I don't have the machine built yet, but I do have the controls and the motors responding to the software commands. Chad |

| The most common (because MACH is made to drive via a parallel port) are to use paired pins in the 2-9 range. Common is X Step = 2 X Dir= 3 YStep = 4 Y Dir =5. Some reverse that so it Dir, step instead of Step direction. Others use different pairs. Then you have vendors like Flashcut that use totally different pins that are normally reserved on a P-Port for grounds! Flashcut doesn't run with MACH anyway so it's a moot issue. |
