| My DRO's are showing different x,y,z positions to actual loaded gcode, they are close but not exactly ie numbers after the decimal point. why is this, cant find any settings to adjust/set this. Last edited by glofuel; 01-15-2007 at 08:23 PM. Reason: title wrong |

| Hi Barker806, Do you mean the figure set in Motor and Tuning Setup configuration, if so steps are set to the default Install numbers which is 2000 at the moment, But how does this affect what is shown in the DRO's surely the should be the same xyz position's as directed by loaded gcode ? |

| No, because Mach can only move in the step increments, it can't always get to an exact commanded position. With 2000 steps per inch, Mach can only move in .0005 increments.
