    Red face pinout (for MACH software)???

    Iam going to design my controller circuit
    to control three stepping motors ,
    and i will use MACH2 software.
    But I do not know pinout of parallel port that match the signal/dir
    Any one have information for this.

    Open the ports and pins and on the input and output pages it will tell you what pins you can use.... 1-9 can be used for motor outputs

    Hi Judi,
    One other thing, check the cable you are using for this. Here is a link I found on the other foum that might help. There are sevsral different pinouts for db25 cables. I like the straight through and a lot of pre-made boards will only work with these.
