Hi there,

Anyone knows how to get steps per unit on mach3 with the following data:

400 step motors
Transmission: Belt
Belt pitch: 3mm
Pinion tooth: 15
Driver: C4 (full step/half step)

Us the "Set Steps Per Unit" Button on the settings page of mach3... this will help you get your steps per unit with out math

Can you be more specific where to find "Set Steps Per Unit" in Mach3? Sorry but I am not seeing it. Thanks

It is on the Settings tab page of Mach3 or press Alt+6 and it wil take you there. Set Steps Per Unit button is right above the RESET button on the lower left.
