| Mike I had a similar problem a few months ago. Mine turned out to be parallel port drivers that XP wasn't happy with. It took some effort to solve the problem but in the end it required an uninstall of the P-Ports and Mach3 driver, and then a reinstall of Mach3 driver, then install of the Special NetMOS P-Port drivers. Another thing when that ArtCode error pops up is that the Kernal Spped resets to 25000Hz. If you're running greater than that, you have to reset that to your desired speed.
