What version of Mach3 is necessary to see this tool path display? The video said 1.71 but I have version 1.84 and the toolpath display is a little crude. Certainly no where near as nice as the one in the video. Am I doing something wrong?

Given I don't seem to have the updated toolpath display in 1.84 Mach3 I was wondering if someone could tell me how to pan and zoom in the toolpath display? I have found no way to pan and zooming seems to controlled with the mouse wheel. Unfortunately, while in one direction the zoom works well but in the other the view suddenly goes from 3/4 of the part visible to the part being a only a point on the screen (zoom out way too much). thanks
Try right click and drag to pan. You can also zoom with shift-left click

Gerry - thanks! That works great while a program is not running but does not seem to work when a program is running. I probably have never even tried to zoom while a program is not running. However, the scroll wheel continues to work when a program is running. Is this the expected behavior?
Yes, You shouldn't really try changing the display while a program is running. It uses too much CPU power and could cause problems.

Hmm... is there a way to at least "clear" the screen of already traced toolpaths? It would be nice to know where the tool is current and its trajectory. When contouring the same paths are draw multiple times and it is hard to tell where the tool is. This is mainly while I was interested what was demonstrated in the video.
Rotating the view a little makes things a bit clearer for me. I just noticed that the display is quite a bit different in the version I downloaded a few days ago. You might want to try it and see if it's better for you.
