Hope you guys can help. When I develop part programs I set the cutter diameter say 5/16 and then import this into Mach for cutting. Question is: At the moment if I decide to use a different cutter say 3/8 I have to re-do the toolpaths each time and this is time consuming. I know that Mach2 has a Tool library but if I select a tool within Mach 2 it would then offset the toolpath by the chosen Tool diameter ie. added it to the already offset toolpath. Is there a method I can use so I can generate the Toolpath, import into Mach and then select which tool I want to use. One thought I had was to generate Toolpaths with a Zero cutter diameter, import into Mach and then select the appropiate tool. Would Mach then offset the Toolpath by the appropiate cutter dimension?... What would you recommend cheers Frans |

| I answered this yesterday. Does Mach3 tool diameter override gcode setting?
