I have encoders that came with my X and Y axis motors. I figure they are there, so I might as well use them and close the loop. There are the following connections to be made: 5V 0V A B Z A not B not Z not Will these work with Mach? Or is there any more information I should give? |

| You can't close the loop in Mach2/3 It doesn't have that capability. The closest you can get is to use this add -on board, that will pause youre machine if it loses position. www.rogersmachine.net You could write your own macro to do the same thing, if you know what you're doing. You'd just need a breakout board on the second port to hook up all the encoders to.
