    Motor tuning and units confusion

I am totally confused about the motor tuning and the "units" word that Mach2 uses.
Do MAch2 needs the screws to be the same pitch on the XY table?
Because I am using a 3mm per turn direct drive on my X axis and 19mm per turn leadscrew with a Xl timing belt 11:21 on the Y axis.
The motor tuning is only for speeds and where do I input the gear ratios and leadscre advance per turn in the Mach2 software?

If your just setting this up, you should use Mach3, as you'll have to retue if you want to upgrade later. (motor tuninmg is different from Mach2 to Mach3)

The steps per unit should be the number of steps it takes to move 1mm, if your machine is setup for metric.
