    digitizing probe

Hi, i'm very satisfied with Mach2, working fine with it, and would want to set up/build a digitizing probe. I'm not sure where to get a probe that's cheap enough, so maybe i might try building my own. Can you guys help me? Thanks!

There is also some info in the files section of the TurboCNC Yahoo group. Look for "simple probe".

You can wire it like a limit switch. One side to an input pin, and the other to ground. You may have to use a 5V source and pull up resistor, though.
