Something is probably interfering with Mach3, either software or hardware.
I have one here...how is it that when I calibrate in the settings that all axis move superb...nice and fluid..absolutely spot on...but when I leave and do a test in mdi...they judder like bugger!! a have tried loads of different vel/acc...get it not too bad in tuning and then again go back and run in mdi and it kak again.....I run at 160 steps per if this helps ( oh, I do click save settings every time on each axis)
I got 160 steps per...get 2000mm/min and 400 acc and it runs nice and smooth in x and y...save...go to mdi screen run a simple g0 code and it sounds juddery..def not fluid...even whenI jog it..go back to motor tuning and fine!!!....anyone help with this...when I then run a programme I seem to lose steps...

Have you run drivertest.exe?
Super X3. 3600rpm. Sheridan 6"x24" Lathe + more. Three ways to fix things: The right way, the other way, and maybe your way, which is possibly a faster wrong way.
