    How to use Wear in Mach

    i am wondering how to activate the tool diameter wear feature in mach. when i type in the values i want, it resets them when i run the program.

    I've never tried it but I would first make sure that you don't have a G code at the start of your program that is cancelling what you put in. If that doesn't work, then maybe you need to specify something in G code to get it to use those settings. Hav eyou read in the manual about it?

    The wear diameter values in the tool table aren't used for anything in Mach3. Not sure why they are being reset, but again, they don't do anything anyway.
