Mach 3 help, Bladerunner AIO plasma | | Hi,
I recetly experienced some accuracy issues (lost steps?) on a long running job. I wiped my PC and reinstalled everything, Im up and cutting, but having some setting issues.
First,
I set my steps per rev to get the desired cut distance (I.E, a 4" square program cuts a 4" square), after a few test cuts to confirm things- I tried to cut a more complex part. It cut well, and seems to be sized/scaled correctly, but it was NOT where the mach3 display window said it was. I lined my part up on the edge of a sheet using the guidelines, and when cut it was off several inches in X and Y, more towards middle of sheet. Never experienced this and not sure what to do. Simple setting issue?
Also, I noticed my parts show all the cuts in different Z planes when I rotate the MAch3 view. Each cut progressively stair steps in the -Z direction..
Any help or ideas would be great,
Thanks,
Ben W
