Hi all, I have been developing some code for cutting complex shapes in plastic. I have found using a linear finishing cut to be quick to generate code, with good cuttting results, however I have encountered a problem. When I do a rouging cut, in the XY Axis, the tool moves as fast as I dare make it move... However, when the linear peaks at 2500 (Not exactly sure what the units are! :-o ). This is really annoying as it is milling nice smooth arcs and it goes much faster for the roughing cut! I have adjusted the acceleration motor profiles and they are all the same. I am hoping its a safety feature and there is another setting controlling max Z speed thats limiting it? If anyone knows it would be great if you could please direct me to where to find it. Thanks in advance, Richard |
