Are you using some other software now? if so you can look to see what pins do what and then assign the same pins in Mach 1. or are you just trying to wire up the gecko's for the first time?
Eric
I am new to setting up printer port pins for all panels in Mach1 or Mach2 demo. Is someone with previous experience able to help with the task? I will than purchase full licence, meanwhile I can check the machine and become familiar with system. Compensation if need it, specify form of. thank you

I wish it wouldn't crash.
Eric,
Thank you, I am not using any other software. I am trying to wire up the Gecko 201 for the first time,
Thanks

Do you have an LPT enterface card to help with wiring? If not it makes things much easier for someone who is new to this. I like the DB1 card from Axxus tech. http://members.shaw.ca/axxus/
Once you have the card, you can see the pin number listed on the card for step and direction. E.G. pins 2 & 3 are step and direction for X axis. Pins 4 & 5 are for Y axis and so on. Once you know the phisical location of the wiring you can setup the software to match.

If you don't want to do that, you can cut the cable end off, ring out the wires to see which wire is which pin, tie them on the gecko using the software setup you will be using (set the step/dir pins in the setup first). This is the hard way, and it's how I did it until I made up my own breakout board.
Jeff is correct. 2, 3 for step/dir xaxis, 4,5 for y, and 6,7 for z will work great.
