Limits and home switch

Hello Everybody.
I know this problem is old but I did not find. In Mach 3 I have 2 limit switch for Y and share the same pin. I set one of the limit switch to be home position. Works fine. The problem I have I want after referencing the axes the machine to move 2-3 mm away from the switch. This tings will help when you jog the table to not hit accidentally the limit.
Any help please

You only need one switch on either end of axis for homing/limit. It is best to use seperate pins for the setup in mach for each switch. Mach will use same switch for both uses with no problem as long as your setup is correct on the inputs setup page of mach.

Change the ref all home script to this. The Y will move 3mm after homing.
