I'm a computer dummy but good at mechanical stuff. I started building this mini mill back in Dec 2006 and just finished it up. I'm using Xylotex 3 axis board with their 425 oz motors. When the power is on to the driver the motor lock up lock like they are suppose to. When I hook up the cable to computer and run Mach 3 I cannot get the motors to move. I'm missing something but cannot figure it out. Thanks Rodney |

| Sounds like you're machine is not running Mach3 properly. Go through this. http://www.machsupport.com/downloads...timization.txt Having said that, do the DRO's change when you try to move? Triple check all the port and pin assignments, as well as the port address. And did you set the VREF's on the Xylotex? probably if they are locking up.
