    driver pulses is low can you know why

    after i start PC i runing mach3 and chack pulse,(about 25200)
    after i runing mach3 pulse is not stabil,every second goes down and stop at about 24450.
    after working with some,i again chack and i have pulse about 24450.
    time in.is about 7-10.
    is someone can help me to understund reason for this?
    is this good or not?
    here is what i have with 24450.
    cpu3014
    shortest 40.462
    longst 42.977
    apictiming 8492
    maxvari some times 4618 some times 0.0399999....
    uf,i realy dont know is this normal,and is this dengerous for my machine.

    I believe your pulse rate is well up into the acceptable range, even with the slight variations, so I wouldn't worry about it. If the signal is too weak or intermittent, your machine might have problems running well, but it would never damage the machine at all.
    Have you run the "drivertest.exe" file in the root directory of Mach, yet? I think that may be where you got the numbers you posted. When you do, it will give you a graphic of the performance of your parallel port. If that graphic is clean, you're golden! (The best way to show that to someone else is to take a screen shot, turn that into a jpg file and post the jpg.)

    Goes down from 25.200 to 24.450..? Nothing to worry about I think.
    If I remember correctly the frequency counting timer is a windows timer, not very accurate. The driver timer is more accurate, but that is not the pulse rate you see in "driver test". Read Mach3 manual, I'm sure it's there somewhere. Correct me if I'm wrong.
