Iam currently using one computer to run my home built router. I would like to also use this computer with mach 3 on it to run a seperate small lathe at various times. I realize that accordingly to the license I can do this ( but not both Machines at the same time). Because one machine will be using mach mill and the other mach lathe. In changing back an forth I would have different configurations for both systems. Would I lose these configurations and have to reset after each swap? Eventually I will dedicate a seperate computer to the lathe. One other item is that the lathe will have its one power supply, breakout board, drivers, and dedicacted motors. Thanks JohnD |

You just need to generate a separate "Profile" for each different machine, and call it by a different name. This results in 2 different XML files being stored in the Mach3 folder. When you start up, using Mach3 Loader, you'll see both of them; just pick the one that's right for the machine you're using at the time. Andrew Werby www.computersculpture.com |
