Hi, My Name is Justin. I have been building my own CNC 3 axis mill for a few months now and I am finally at the point where I need to get my stepper motors running. I have the gecko g540 driver and I am running windows 7 64bit on a desktop. I just installed a PCI paralell port to accept the parralell cable from the gecko. I cant seem to figure out why mach3 wont talk to the driver under the default port adress. The paralell port properties of the PCI card indicate two I/O ranges; EC00-EC07 and E880-E887. I have read that windows 7 has difficulty running mach 3. Is this the reason that I am getting no response form my driver or is there something wrong with my PCI adress. Please help. Thanks -Justin |
